August 17th 2004: Times Square, New York The event featured competitors from the USA, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Mexico, France, Germany and Japan. There was also the BBA Times Square Rumble Tournament that featured 128 competitors from North America. Throughout the day over 1000 spectators attended the event including local and international TV crews and photographers.

On March 25th, 2012, a second World Championship in the history of Beyblade took place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It involved Bladers from 25 countries, and it was a collaboration between TAKARA-TOMY, SonoKong, Hasbro and Nelvana. After an intense match in the Tornado BeyStadium, Ryo from Japan was crowned the winner of the Beyblade World Championship.
